Baja California, Mexico – Woman’s Packing List For Spring

Spring time in Baja is very similar to spring in Southern California. At any given time the weather could be gorgeous and sunny, then a day later be cloudy and rainy. Whether you are traveling to TJ, Rosarito, Las Gaviotas, or Ensenada, this will will be helpful for sure since these areas are relatively close to each other, meaning you would experience relatively similar environments.

So when traveling to Baja, the most important thing is to be prepared. But, that doesn’t mean go and bring snow boots or a rain coat. It just means to bring a jacket with a hood, a pair of pants, and shoes along with your bikini and shorts. Below is a list of items to bring with you on a 3 to 5 day trip in Baja Mexico:

Clothes:

  • 2 Pairs of Pants/Jeans
  • 2 Pairs of Shorts
  • 1 Light Jacket/Sweatshirt
  • 1 Pjs
  • 1 Bra
  • 3 – 5 Panties
  • 1 Bikini
  • 2 Pairs of Socks
  • 1 Pair of Shoes
  • 1 Pair of Sandals

Toiletries:

  • Contact case / solution
  • Glasses / case
  • Cleanser
  • Cleansing wipes
  • Clarisonic brush
  • Toner
  • SPF moisturizer
  • Q-tips
  • Toothbrush / toothpaste
  • Deodorant
  • Ibprophen or Tylenol
  • Vitamins

Make up:

  • Eyeliner
  • Eyeshadow, blush brush
  • Mascara

Other Stuff:

  • Passport or Global Entry Card or Sentri Pass
  • Cash (in multiple denominations)
  • Sunglasses
  • Mace/Pen knife (you just never know)
  • Green Angels phone number for emergencies (read more)
  • Tablet
  • Phone
  • Chargers
  • Book
  • Camera
  • Beer
  • Case of water (no one wants diarrhea)

Hopefully my go-to list will help speed up your packing session. I always refer to this list whenever I go during the spring time, which is at least once a year. This list seems quite extensive, but keep in mind that we always drive down to Baja and not fly. So your list may need to be limited accordingly if you are flying (no beer, case of water, mace, knives, etc.)

If you want to know more about what brands of items I take on the list above, comment below.
